Location Description

The Airport submarket is located southwest of the Frankfurt city centre at the southern city limits of Frankfurt. The Frankfurt Kreuz, the intersection of the motorways A3 and A5, is one of the most important and most frequented transport hubs of Germany and Europe. Not only does the Airport have its own regional train station, but it is also connected to the German ICE railway network with its own long-distance train station. Both the Airport and the development area Gateway Gardens are connected to the suburban railway network Rhine-Main so that the Frankfurt city centre, Wiesbaden and Mainz can be reached in no time. Most of the companies located at the Airport are from the transport industry, such as Condor, DB Schenker, Deutsche Lufthansa and SunExpress. But also entreprises of other industries, like Dell, KPMG, Hoya and Schiff-Martini are located in state-of-the-art office areas, such as The Squaire, as well as the Gateway Gardens nearby.
